Create an organizer designed specifically for the tray. And the type of silver objects to be stored with plywood and balsa wood. You can make slots for additional items such as napkins, serving utensils or cooking utensils, as needed. You can also cover the wood with decorative paper to coordinate with the decoration of the kitchen if you wish.
Measure the length, width, and depth of the inside of the drawer. Cut the plywood so that it fits your size inside the drawer. Place one of each item to be stored in the drawer on the piece of wood so that there is at least a half inch between the items. Move the elements as you wish on the wood until a final configuration is created. Draw straight lines around each object so that there is at least a quarter of an inch of space around each object.

Measure along a short edge of the balsa wood sheet and mark widths that are 1/8 of an inch smaller than the height of the drawer. Draw a line of the length of the balsa sheet on each mark. Cut along each line. Cut each strip of the raft to the correct length for one of the pencil lines on the sheet of plywood. Nail the balsa wood in place on the plywood template. Insert the finished organizer into the drawer.
